On the road to Roma - July 9th

A driving day on the Warrego Highway through busy Toowoomba, Dalby, Miles and finally Roma, birthplace of Australians Oil & Gas industry. We camped at the show-grounds and to the relief of all, had our first showers since we left. The moisturiser even made an appearance! The rumblings and miss-content over the last few days subsiding as we reached a semblance of civilisation.

We even treated ourselves to the Big Rig night-show where the history of Roma's industry was explained in much colourful detail and in the morning looked at the adjoining museum.
