Endeavour Rivet Escape - July 18

Who would have thought that Queensland had one of the worst state park pass reservation systems possible? Really helpful staff let down by a poor system.

Anyway we had to spend a couple of hours figuring out spots that could take our campertrailer to and when they were free. This took so long that we had to spend another night in Cooktown!

This time we stayed at the Endeavour River Escape, 5km from Cooktown, hich turned out to be a great sport. A Ffmily owned park built on their farm, with heaps of space and our own Fire pit. It was too good  an opportunity to miss....and as we got there with plenty f time to telax, it was BbQ chicken and rice around the fire.
